What is Verification Code/Encryption Key in Hikvision Hik-Connect App?
The encryption key in the Hik-Connect app is a security feature used to protect the transmission of data between the Hikvision device (such as a camera or recorder) and the Hik-Connect app. The Verification Code/Encryption Key can be found on either the recorder directly under the main menu > system configuration > network > advanced > platform access. Normally System installer gives you the Encryption Key. If you don't know anything, you need to contact your system installer.
